THE WALKATHON One of our major fundraising events each year is the annual Walkathon. Students are asked to obtain as many sponsors as possible from within the family and known circle of friends, neighbours and work acquaintances to raise funds for our school. On the day of the walkathon, students follow a walkathon course around Bellevue Hill Park and the school between recess and lunch. One lap is approx. 470m long.   Students can win prizes in lucky draws and for raising money.  Prizes might include: CD stereos, a Playstation, watches, toy vouchers and Walkmans. Sponsors are notified of how many laps the child walked. Children return the money raised and the school buys new equipment. This is an enjoyable and exciting day for all students. All money raised is spent on resources to benefit all students.
